Brennan Pilkington
Brennan Pilkington has been playing music professionally for about 15 years. Influenced by music at a young age, Brennan's love for songwriting, and playing came early. From listening to Beatles and Beach Boys tapes in his father's "record" room, to cheering loudly from his stroller when seeing his father play live, music has been all encompassing.
Years later, he has become an accomplished multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter who has performed with a number of different artists and bands. Playing as a session musician, he has appeared on more than ten albums, working with studio engineers Dave Draves, Marty Jones, and James Law. With his own projects he has recorded 6 albums solo and has been involved in the release of 9 studio albums, (four of them under the auspices of The Department of Foreign Affairs, which he started/fronted and was principal songwriter for).
From extensive touring and live shows, he also garnered a love for live sound and studio engineering. As an engineer he has recorded 11 albums to date.
