Pierre Lemire
Pierre considers himself lucky to have grown up during the great music of the 60's and 70's. This 'golden era' produced some fabulous music, and inspired Pierre to take up drums in grade 5. He was inspired by artists such as CSNY, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Led Zepplin, Chicago, Santana, and many other powerhouse bands of the day. With over 44 years of experience behind the kit, Pierre has played with big band ensembles, an acoustic trio, motown, funk and rock bands. He has played many local venues over the years and recorded with both original and cover bands such as: Deja vu Rock and Roll version from Gatineau, A tribute to the Eagles, One of these nights (Montreal), The Memphis Mafia (Kanata), Fanatical Jack (Stittsville).
